Daniel came to Canada from Chile, hoping for better opportunities and safer working conditions. Instead, he faced exploitation, unsafe housing, and long hours in harsh conditions as a migrant worker in the agricultural sector — a challenge many temporary foreign workers face in silence!
With support from a migrant worker advocacy organization, he learned about his rights, left that situation, and began rebuilding his life. Today, Daniel uses his experience to help other workers understand their rights and access support.
