Rhose Harris-Galia is promoting patient care while touching lives in Nunavut
“I never entered the nursing field planning to make an impact. But it’s very gratifying when people say, “Thanks again for all the help you gave”, whether it was last week or it was 10 years ago,” says Rhose Harris-Galia. She was looking for an adventure and it landed her in Baffin Island in the Canadian territory of Nunavut. Here’s how the registered nurse, in her role as a Nurse Case Manager at the Qikiqtani Hospital in Iqaluit, facilitates patient care while touching lives along the way.
