Like most newcomers, Gerard Keledjian had many years of international work experience when he migrated to Canada in 2010. One would think that it would be easy to find a job with these credentials. Yet, Gerard faced several challenges in finding employment. Many newcomers will identify with this struggle. Often, they don’t know where to begin and how to tap the many resources that are available yet unknown to more than 60% newcomers.
Gerard went on to start New Horizons Media Inc., his own video production and events services company. People started seeing him as the “media guy who understands immigration.”
