IAF: Providing micro loans to immigrants
Newcomers come with tons of qualifications but struggle to find jobs because they cannot get their qualifications assessed, pay licensing fees or add Canadian qualifications, because they lack financial resources. Banks do not provide loans for licensing fees or credential assessment. That is where Immigrant Access Fund steps in with micro loans to skilled immigrants who cannot pay for the licensing/training they need to work in their field in Canada.
