The 6th Annual Welcome Day Celebration for newcomers, refugees and immigrants to Victoria!
Inviting the whole community to join us in welcoming newcomers, refugees, and immigrants to Victoria!
The 6th Annual Welcome Day Celebration is a FREE family-friendly event celebrating Victoria’s newcomers and showcasing diverse arts and culture through food, music, fashion, and more!
Every year, over 600 attendees enjoy this community celebration. It is a perfect opportunity to make meaningful connections and celebrate diversity. Enjoy delicious food, kids’ activities, the multicultural marketplace and our special fashion shows!
ACTIVITIES:
- SKILL-BUILDING WORKSHOPS
- RUNWAY DANCE AROUND THE WORLD & FASHION SHOW
- HIJAB FASHION SHOW FOR WOMEN
- KIDS AND YOUTH PLAY AREAS
FREE ADMISSION. REGISTRATION ADVISED.
ATTENTION PERMANENT RESIDENTS:
Upon presentation of your PR card (photo or photocopy) get:
- FREE lunch from the international buffet
- Bus tickets
- Raffle tickets for a FREE draw
VENDORS, PERFORMERS, MODELS, DESIGNERS & CULTURAL GROUPS: SHOWCASE YOUR CULTURE, SELL YOUR GOODS, PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS, ETC. FOR FREE
