Immigrant Business Expo – Calgary

Organized by New Horizons Media Inc., Canadian Immigrant Women’s Association, Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (also a sponsor), and Calgary Public Library, the Immigrant Business Expo – Calgary (IBE) is a one-day event for new immigrant and refugee business owners. It features workshops, a panel discussion, a keynote speech, a marketplace, and a small business clinic.

While Canada has a long and successful history of immigrant entrepreneurship, newcomers often face unique challenges when starting and operating a business. The IBE aims to help by connecting them with essential government-funded and community services that provide the support needed to start or grow a small business in Canada.
