0

Originally from the Ukraine, 19-year-old Anastasia Muntyanu has competed for Team Canada in rhythmic gymnastics at the 2012 London Olympic Summer Games and at the 2011 Guadalajara Pan Am Games. She won two silver medals and a bronze in the team event at the 2011 Pan Am Games and looks forward to better her performance in the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games.

Canada has so many opportunities and is very supportive to athletes, students and general public, she says. “Canada provides as much support as possible in order to help athletes achieve their dreams. I am very happy and lucky,” to be here.

“It is amazing to see different countries coming together for Toronto 2015 Pan Am games. It is absolutely necessary to make everyone feel accepted and feel at home so they are absolutely comfortable in the environment they are in. “The only thing they do is to focus on how to do their absolute best in the competition.”
