Café New Canadians

Join the conversation, as we discuss topics that matter to newcomers.

What started as a way to navigate through the uncertain COVID-19 lockdown life together back in March of last year, has been going strong week after week. We’re talking about Café New Canadians – a virtual event series that hosts experts and immigrants from diverse sectors to chat on matters important to newcomers in Canada.

From how to ace working from home to video calls and interviews, decoding CERB and taxes, tips on job search, networking, volunteering and public speaking – you name it and we’ve done it. Each session is a lively discussion with our guest speakers who share their valuable insights and dole out great advice while answering your questions live.

What can you expect? A stimulating session packed with expert tips and immigrant-focused information and resources to assist you in your new Canadian journey.

Watch out this space to learn about our upcoming virtual sessions on Café New Canadians. We hope to see you at the next one.
